The Zambia Union of Nurses and Midwives Organisation (ZUNMO) is a trade union and professional organisation for nurses and midwives in Zambia working in both the private and public sectors.
We are committed protecting and promoting the interests of nurses and midwives through effective representation and worker education.
We use advocacy as a tool for better socio-economic welfare for nurses through collective bargaining with employers while ensuring maintenance of professional set standards among nurses and midwives.

To have an empowered Nurse and Midwife who is protected, motivated and able to continuously uphold professional excellence.
Our Mission
ZUNMO is committed to being a vibrant, self-sustaining, Professional and Socio-Economic Welfare Organisation that will protect and promote the interests of nurses and midwives through effective representation and capacity building.
In so doing, ZUNMO will promote the highest level of professionalism and integrity in the delivery of health care services to the community
